Will I be refunded if I cancel a class or appointment?

DATED APPOINTMENTS

Treatd offers a ‘change of mind’ guarantee from time of purchase up to 48 hours before your appointment or class is due to take place. If you change your mind, we will give you a 100% refund to the original payment. For example, our 48 hrs policy means no bookings can be cancelled and/or amended within 48 hrs leading up to the time of your appointment or class. If a cancellation is made within the 48 hrs leading up to the time of your appointment or class, a deposit cancellation fee will be charged by the provider. All cancellations fees are custom set by the providers. To determine what the cancellation % fee is, please refer to the provider’s waiver at checkout or contact them directly before booking a class or appointment. We are currently working on integrating a customised refund and cancellation policies for each individual provider, however at the present moment, the refund and cancellation policy is standard for all providers across the Treatd platform. It is therefore very important that you check our policy before making a booking.

Why do I have to sign liability waiver at checkout?

A liability waiver is a legal document that a person who participates in an activity may sign to acknowledge the risks involved in their participation. By doing so, the company attempts to remove legal liability from the business or person responsible for the activity. Each provider has a custom liability waiver, therefore, it is very important that you check and read the liability waiver form before making a purchase. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that all providers listed on our platform have been thoroughly verified to the best of our knowledge and have the skills to ensure that you have a great experience. We take your experience seriously and are committed to delivering the best quality. We also want to ensure that our providers are able to deliver their services in a safe environment without compromising on quality. The liability waiver form is just an extra level of safety and security measure and there to protect both customer and provider, equally.

Where is my booking confirmation email?

We send a confirmation email straight to your inbox – just check it’s there, and bring it to your appointment or class.

I’ve lost my booking confirmation email.

You can check any bookings you’ve made in your Treatd account under “Bookings”.

I am struggling to get in touch with a provider/venue.

What if I need to amend my booking?

In most cases you can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your appointment or class, free of charge – make sure to check the cancellation policy details applied to your booking before making any changes. At the present moment, we do not allow rescheduling on the platform, however it is a feature we are looking to integrate in the future.

How does the booking system work?

Treatd gives providers, specialists, clinics and managers access to their own online diary system so they can independently control their calendar and on-site availability. We teach them to use the software, to synchronise it with their own digital diary (if they opt not to use it as their main management system) and to keep their appointment information up to date. This includes training on blocking out time slots that have been filled, as well as time periods when the venue may be closed. Clients are able to choose between booking a consultation straight away in 3 simple steps or requesting a consultation, depending on the providers’ options. As a result, all appointments showing on both our site and app should be bookable. If you do encounter inaccurate availability listed on site, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we will get in touch with the venue to correct matters as soon as possible.
