How can I write a review for a provider?

Reviews are an important part of the Treatd experience. They give you a centralised place to find support before and after your treatment, while also documenting your experience for others who are considering their own options. Reviews also let you rate your provider and vote on whether a treatment, class or service was “Worth It” or not. Reviews can only be submitted if you have made a purchase on the Treatd platform. This also helps us verify your review and make sure no paid or fake reviews are submitted on the Treatd platform. We are all about transparency and honesty, that is why you will only read reviews from users who have actually had the experience. If you’re not logged in or registered, you’ll be prompted to log in or register. If you have an account, click on Sign in at the bottom of the pop-up box. Wait for the confirmation screen to load. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to 1-2 minutes, depending on your Internet speed and the size of any photos you’d added. Don’t close the page until the confirmation screen comes up. Here are some tips for writing a review: 1. Just enter your story and experience details. 2. Photos and videos. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and reviews with photos and videos are no exception. These are optional but they really add to the review and help explain your story. It’s also a great way to track your progress throughout your healing process so you can see your results as they happen. That’s it! Your review will be checked by our moderation team and published within one business day. In the meantime, you can browse the forums, ask questions, or even review another treatment

I have a question about a treatment, service, product or a concern I need help with. How can I ask a question?

There are 3 options to ask questions: Option 1: The Q+A feature in the A-Z guide allows you to ask a question about about services/ products to the community. You can also browse existing answers to other community members’ questions in the Q&A. Option 2: You can ask a question directly from the providers’ profile by clicking on “Ask a Question”. The question will be sent to the provider you’ve chosen. After moderation by the Treatd team, the provider will be able to answer your question. Providers can choose which questions and answers to publish publicly on their profile. Some Q+A may be kept private. Option 3: You can ask us anything, anytime. By emailing us hello@treatd.co.uk or via live chat. You will receive an on-screen confirmation that lets you know we’ve received your question. In the are occasion that your question remains unanswered, please contact our customer support team: hello@treatd.co.uk .

How can I make the best decision before booking a medical aesthetic treatment.

BEFORE YOU HAVE AN AESTHETIC TREATMENT

If you're thinking about having an aesthetic treatment, it's important to do your research and find out about what will happen. All medical aesthetic treatments have some risks. They can lead to serious complications if they're not done correctly, and can affect your mental health if they do not turn out how you expected. Before having any treatment, there are some things you can do to help you make the right decision and reduce the risks.

BE CLEAR ABOUT WHY YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK

How you feel about the way you look is only one aspect of your wellbeing. Ask yourself why you want a treatment.

SPEAK TO AN EXPERT

Speak to a professional about the treatment. A GP or mental health professional might be a good place to start, but make sure you book a consultation with a practitioner, too. Talk to them about why you want the treatment and what you expect. This can help you make sure it's right for you.

DO YOUR RESEARCH

Find out as much as you can about the procedure you want. This guide has information on the different types of aesthetic treatments.

UNDERSTAND ALL THE COSTS INVOLVED

The costs will vary depending on the type of procedure you're having. This includes aftercare and any future procedures you might need to maintain the look.

CHOOSE A QUALIFIED PRACTITIONER

Choose a reputable, safe and qualified practitioner. They should be trained and experienced in the treatment you're having and have the right insurance to correct anything that goes wrong.

ASK QUESTIONS

Before committing to a treatment, ask the practitioner questions and get as much information as you can. Ask them about the treatment, the products they'll use and what could go wrong.

BE CAUTIOUS WITH SOCIAL MEDIA

Take extra care to research any treatments or clinics you find on social media. Social media influencers are usually paid to advertise the service.

TAKE TIME TO DECIDE

Take time to think about everything and decide whether to go ahead with the treatment. You should be offered a cooling-off period after any consultation with a practitioner. Important Remember, you can walk away if you're not completely comfortable.
